Why men don't have hormonal cycles?

While men do have hormonal fluctuations, they do not have menstrual cycles like women do. This is because men do not have a uterus, and therefore, do not experience the hormonal changes that are necessary for ovulation, menstruation, and pregnancy.

However, men do have hormonal cycles that are regulated by the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. The hypothalamus in the brain releases gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which stimulates the pituitary gland to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). These hormones then stimulate the testes to produce testosterone and other androgens, which are responsible for the development of male sex characteristics and regulating male reproductive function.

While men's hormonal cycles may not be as obvious as women's menstrual cycles, they can still affect a man's mood, energy levels, and sexual function. For example, testosterone levels in men typically peak in the morning and gradually decline throughout the day, which can affect a man's energy and mood. Additionally, some men may experience a decrease in testosterone levels as they age, which can lead to a condition known as andropause.
